What Makes an Arrival Window Wide or Narrow
Three things decide the window we quote you, and none of them is how much we want the job. The first is where the trucks already are: they start the day in Evans, so Evans and Martinez addresses sit at the front of the route simply by geography. The second is the river and the bridges, which is why North Augusta and Aiken carry a wider window than anywhere on the Georgia side, regardless of the mileage.
The third is the weather, and in this region it is the one that moves the schedule most. Between June and September the two hours after an afternoon thunderstorm produce the heaviest run of calls in our week, because surges take out opener boards and gusts catch half-open doors on exposed lots. A morning booking in storm season is worth more than any promise made about the afternoon.
